Day - 1 Cochin
Arrival at Cochin Airport. Meet and assist and transfer to Ernakulam.

There’s a saying in Malayalam that a man who sees Kochi soon forgets his wife. So seductive is Kochi (formerly called Cochin before it got abbreviated to a sneeze, thanks to some linguistic jingoism) that it has long served to tempt voyagers and travelers form all over the globe. The successive influences of the Portuguese, the Dutch and the British have coated Kochi in a shroud of cultural influences that add to the unique ambience, best exemplified by the fascinating samples of Indo-European architecture that dot the older parts of the city.

After relaxation takes a harbour cruise to explore the Cochin backwaters and harbour. The backwaters are fed by perineal rivers and streams and opens out into the sea. In the evening visit Kalari center to witness Kalaripayattu.Overnight at the hotel in Cochin.

Day - 2 Cochin
Day for sightseeing in Cochin Fort Kochi, Mattancherry Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jew Town, Old spice market, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica and Chinese fishing net. Later in the evening enjoy Kathakali dance presentation. Overnight at the hotel in Cochin.

Day - 3
Cochin – Munnar
Proceed to Munnar in the early morning (132 Kms from Cochin). Munnar is situated at the confluence of three-mountain streams-Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala.1600 M above sea level; this hill station was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India.Munnar's greenery and cool air mainly draws well- heeled honeymooners from Mumbai and Delhi. Sprawling tea plantations, picture-book towns, winding lanes and holiday facilities make this a popular resort town. Munnar also has the highest peak in south India, Anamudi, which towers over 2695 M. Anamudi is an ideal spot for trekking. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Trekking facilities is available on request. Tourists are allowed to go on foot up to Anamudi.This is also a place for adventure tourism.

Day - 4 Munnar
Munnar is particularly popular with young travellers who head up here for the excellent off-road cycling; there are no official routes, just miles and miles of hills to climb up and speed down. The hilling scene is also growing as the countryside around Munnar offers walks for all levels of fitness, from gentle rambles through the tea fields to mountain climbing, including the scenic hamlet of Top Station and Eravikulan National Park. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day - 5 Munnar –Thekkady
Morning travel by road on a scenic route dotted with plantations of rubber, cardamom, cocoa, green pepper and areca nut, to the wildlife reserve at Periyar. Arrive Periyar and check – in at hotel. Rest of the day free for walk around in the peaceful town known for various Spice and coffee plantations.

Day - 6 Munnar – Kumarakom
After breakfast check out and travel by road to Kumarakom.Kumarakom is a sleepy little village tucked away from the din and bustle of city life. The Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary is an Ornithologist's paradise and a favorite haunt of migrating birds like Siberian stork, darter, heron and teal to name a few. Overnight at Kumarakom.


Day - 7
Kumarakom –Alappuzha
Check into the houseboat at 12 noon for 1 Night / 2 Days riding in the backwaters & small canals.
A glide in a houseboat through the enchanting backwaters is sure to rob your heart. Palm fringed narrow canals winding through the vast expense of panoramic sight one can never forgetting less than 15 minutes, the low hum of the motor and the dazzling afternoon light have tuned out the noises in your head, the deadlines, the telephone, the unfinished chapters. Watch the white tread-tread clouds turn into wisps of animal fur and then disappear. The isolation on a luxury houseboat is total.

Day – 8 Alappuzha – Kovalam
After breakfast disembark from houseboat at Alappuzha and proceed to Kovalam.Travel by road to Kovalam through green coastal belt and cashew plantations. Despite the fact that virtually the entire 550 Km length of the Kerala coast is lined with sandy beaches, rocky promontories and coconut palms,Kovalam is one of the only place where swimming in the sea is not considered eccentric by locals. Check into the hotel.

Day – 9
In time transfer to airport/railway station
